Warranty Information:  APT Instruments will warranty Smiths products purchased from us against defects in workmanship  for 2 years after purchase date, if you return the product to us with proof of purchase.  We will, at our discretion, either repair or replace the product.  We will not provide a replacement product until we receive and verify defect of the original product.  We will not reimburse you for your return shipping costs; however, we will pay for shipping the product back to you (UPS ground only).  Disclaimer:  APT will not assume responsibility for labor costs (or any other additional costs) associated with the removal of defective product, cost of equipment downtime, or any other costs associated with the failure of the product.

Note:  Some Smiths distributors claim to be the only authorized U.S. distributor, but there are others.  We just claim to be the most knowledgeable, helpful and able to provide technical support for any product we sell.
